Great score
This is the one written by the actual composer, and it works well. Each verse has differences in rhythm, so I recommend this first and foremost for people who read music or who have someone who can play the melody as written. This way youre not just singing another vocalists interpretation and you can sing as you like.

Like juggling for me
I had been playing the easy piano version of "The Rose," and thought I was ready for something more difficult and authentic. But singing the melody while playing the rhythm is a juggling act that will take me much time to practice.
