This fixes my soul
Excellent work Katherine, thank you! Im speechless how its possible to include this many overlapping elements in one arrangement, without it getting too complicated to play. This is so far the best example, Ive encountered, of how a full band can be squeezed in ten fingers on the piano. This song is 100% joy, comfort and empowerment to play, and I just love all of the various parts of it. Theres _ nothing missing. There are lots of jumps in this one, but theyre definitely worth the effort. Im still learning the ending (starting halfway page 4), as that part is quite tricky to play (left hand melody runs in both keys), but it will sound absolutely fantastic when mastered. The sheet is fine, there might be better ways to write some parts, but overall you get the idea quite easily. Personally, I think it helps a lot when the piece is already as familiar as this one is.
