Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 Aria by Heitor Villa-Lobos
I have loved this piece from the moment I first heard it and I am delighted to be able to have it in a piano arrangement. There are a couple of awkward skips in tessitura for the accompaniment, but a sensitive pianist will easily solve the problem by simplifying the texture just a bit. The arrangement is of course very accurate. It was a delightful surprise to discover this arrangement on the musicnotes.com site.
