Super Mario Bros.
This is a piano solo. It is difficult. The counting is tricky. The song was not written to be played on a piano. This is no fault of the arrangement which is very good and accurate...just be prepared! Its short..but tough.

Super Mario Bros. Main Theme
I needed this piece for a trumpet student, so I was looking for the top line melody only. This piece worked great.

sounds like the video game
This piece matches the video game, except it doesnt have the video game sounds. It would probably sound better played on a keyboard so you can get more of the right type of sound. As it wasnt written to be played on piano with only 2 hands there are places, especially the triplets, where its helpful to omit the lower note of at least the first note of the triplets to be able to reach the melody notes in a timely fashion. It would probably work well to have students play it as a duet on the piano, with the treble part as the Primo and the bass clef as the Secondo. Another good option would be to have 3 instruments play it as a trio. The rhythm has a lot of sixteenth note rhythm combinations, which keep changing, alternating with triplets, so careful counting is very necessary. Although most kids know the rhythm by heart already so that makes is much easier.
