Blue on Black (Shepherd)

This is a guitar song, but I play it on the keyboard, as well (as that is my musical instrument of choice). I think it says a lot for a song if a musician (e.g., me) buys it to play on a different instrument (piano/keyboard) than what it was originally written for (guitar). This song has a hypnotic riff/chord progression, which makes up for the fact that the song is quite repetitive; because the main theme is so good, you dont mind repeating it, and several consecutive reps of the main theme is part of the blueprint of all good blues songs. This is a super blues-rock song, with great lyrics to match.
