Overall thoughts on Dave Trans arrangements and teaching abilities.
10/9/2021 7:49:22 AMI am 60+ years old and finally decided to try learning the guitar during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. I looked around on the web for some time in an attempt to find the right teaching method for me and was so happy to find Dave Tran on his YouTube channel. His personality and teaching style are really conducive to a great learning experience and I find with doing my part with practice that I am able play most of what Dave teaches in a surprisingly short amount of time. When I found out that Dave started making his arrangements available on Music Notes I was absolutely thrilled since now I could read along during practice without the constant need for YouTube. I find his arrangements to be accurate, well documented with chord charts, tabs, and chord names above the music. They are obviously produced with a level of professionalism not often found during web searches. The best part is that most of arrangements come along with a link to his YouTube teaching video which a great help during the learning process.
