Ive been a fan of this since I first heard it, and even tried to play it back when I was in high school and still taking organ lessons. My original commercial sheet music for this was in the wrong key, and could perhaps be best described as an "easy piano" arrangement. The arrangement I bought here *is* in the original key, and while listed as "piano accompaniment", I actually found the piano part (less the melody) useful for bass and guitar instead. On that note (pun intended, lol), Im actually rating the difficulty on this as "4.5", as some of whats perhaps supposed to be "piano left hand" in this arrangement seems like its taken directly from Charles Meeks bass work - and while Im not a piano player myself, it seems like it would be rather difficult to play that with the left hand while simultaneously playing the rest with the right hand. Im only giving quality a "4" on this one as it seems to be based on the shorter "45rpm single" version of the song vs the full length version from the LP/CD (yes, Ive owned each), so the ad lib/solo duet/duel between Chuck Mangione and Chris Vadala at the end are missing. But whats written is otherwise *very* accurate with regard to the original performance. Im otherwise very pleased with this arrangement and recommend it for anyone that would like to learn to play it.
