I never heard this song, sung by anyone, let alone GLs mellifluous baritone. Thus, I found the syncopations more than a little difficult to work out. I only got it on the third go-round, and had to practice diligently on a couple of different days to become comfortable with playing the song. Its possible that if MusicNotes had doubled the note values [eighth notes quarter notes and half notes, rather than sixteenth notes eighth notes and quarter notes] it would have been easier to learn more quickly. But thats not MusicNotes mandate: it is in fact the song as Lightfoot wrote it. And Beautiful is indeed beautiful.
