This song is a brilliant audition choice for the singing actress! However, in order to pull it off needs security of pitch throughout the multiple key changes and significant word painting and musicianship for maximum emotional impact.

This song does a superior job of capturing a developing relationship that is ripped apart by 9/11. When I first heard the song, sung by Audra McDonald, I didnt realize how the ending would affect me. You dont often think about young married couples losing one another to death and tragedy.

Being from a Contemporary Musical sometimes the songs can be hard to vocally grasp or pianist to play. This song not only hits you in the heart every time, but it is accessible to a budding musical theater artist. Love! Love! Love!
