This music is spot on-it follows the original Chenowith/Tesori score perfectly!

Great Piece to show "Legit" Musical Theatre Skills

8/5/2015 10:30:07 AM

I really enjoyed working on this piece. My Two Singer friends and I ,each took a character and performed the piece for a Theatres Anniversary Show. We all have Classical / Opera trainging so the styles of Musical Theatre and Jazz sure was Fun to do ! I did the part of the Opera singer in a "way over the top" manner and the Audience laughed very hard and long! When a singer picks this piece , she must have perfect technique in order to pull this off. Give this piece a try !!!

Very true to the original. Not easy, but great for an advance singer

Funny and fun, but hard to do!

This song is really fun for the audience and also for the singer, if done right. It requires the ability to sing in various styles (classical, jazz, belting) and switch between the three mid-sentence. Its a great opportunity to show off comical acting skills as well as singing - recommended for advanced singers and actors.
