Is what is written what the composer wrote?
8/3/2012 4:23:16 AMI wanted a piano solo arrangement which reflected the slow sexy quality that Phil Collins put into this Toni Wine & Carol Bayer Sager song. While the chord progression is accurate (to my ear), and the right hand correctly reflects the melody, the left hand is bereft of detail. As it is, its a simple arrangement. For an experienced player somewhat too simple. Remember to add the human-factor and play it as you feel it - license with timing is key in this piece. If you play it rigidly as written, youll get an disappointing automated result. If you have a mate who plays cello and who can play the base line... then its great as is. Failing having such a mate (every time I play this), Im giving it a ho-hum Arrangement rating. "Could try harder."
