Glee Version, a Bit Different :/

Though the results when you search it say that this is the original arrangement as performed by Heart, that is incorrect. This music is for the Glee arrangement of the song. I bought this song because I have s revue coming up. My vocal and acting coach both agree that, though I am classified as a lyric soprano, I have a very strong mix voice and the way I belt in my mix reminded them of Grace Slick, Ann Wilson, and the likes. When I started working with this music, I thought that the notes definitely looked too high on the staff for this song. When I started playing the pitches, I KNEW they were too high. So, I did some research. Apparently Kristen Chenoweth sang this song on Glee? Anyone who knows Broadway should know that with K Cheno youre not going to get a nice rocknroll mix belt, youre going to get a soprano. Looking at the music, I could see that it is in the proper key (B minor), so I pulled up Youtube and listened to Heart do the first verse of the song. Returning to my keyboard, I was able to discover that the music is only written with the singer going up the octave. So, if you want to sing the song in the style of Heart using this music, just sing it in the fourth octave (surrounding middle C), rather than the fifth octave as it is written.
