Self-Explanatory

The arrangement is straighforward and true to the original. sining along was fairly easy as well. A simple yet strikingly beautiful song. Highly recommended for low tenors or baritones looking for something subtle yet gorgeous. I do not recomend taking on this song unless your voice can carry it; there are a great deal of prolonged notes and with the accompaniment as simple as it is, a fairly strong voice is needed to make the piece work. On another note, I was able to write an a viola solo to go along with the arrangement using the recording and the sheet music.

This song, despite being sang by a man in the production of Sweeney Todd also word for female voices if you transpose it to a comfortable key. I find it very comfortable to sing. Sondheim is always a great choice.
