Bringin it Home!

As for the piece I bought, "Home" from The Wiz, I was very pleased with the arrangement musically - I took some liberties on the vocal display in order to take it from basic counts to a more stylistic flow. But for the sake of practice and learning it was very helpful! I also loved the fact that I could transpose the key. I purchased my version of the song in C, which was a better range for my voice and closer to the range in which I heard it performed in the movie version of The Wiz. When it came time for my audition, the song came together very well! My pianist was able to follow the arrangement with no problems and I got a call back!! If Im ever looking for a singular piece of music again I will certainly re-visit this site.
