Not bad, but suffers from the usual pop fumblings
11/7/2007 2:22:28 AMThe test of any arrangement is whtehre it sounds well and is playable. The arrangement of this extravagant rock-pop classic is not bad. The piano voicings sound well on their own and more or less work well to suit an accompanist. It is however difficult to play and I need to simplify when reading the score with a singer. As with many other piano-vocal scores, teh arranger seems bent on showing many possibilities for accompniment as the verses coem around. That is a good thing but more often tahn not the chords are difficult to read and don't sound worth the trouble leraning. When are arrangers going to learn this simple problem - don't invent impossible to play accompniments. This arrangemnt is not that bad in thsi respect and I still reccomend it.
