B# major?
8/5/2008 5:02:50 AMNight and Day by Cole Porter was originally written in Db major. Frankie makes it sound easy, but it is very complex harmonically. I ordered a version transposed down a half step, because page 1 looked all right in the preview. Here's the problem: Later on in the piece, the transposition resulted in chords like B# and E# major, which is what a bad notation program would do when transposing down a half step. All those sharps and double-sharps are impossible for a pianist to read. For that kind of money I would expect somebody to look at the transpositions before putting them up for sale. I want my money back.
