not bad!

Nice arrangement! It remains faithful to the overall familiar tune, although this edition does not contain the last few verses that the Dr. Seuss version has. Yet, it does not dumb down the arrangement, but kept the strong jazz voicings that really help set this piece apart. still worth the $$

This is NOT the arrangement from Thurl Ravenscrofts original performance. Despite Musicnotes.com listing the artist as "Thurl Ravenscroft", I just purchased it, and it is clearly the Jim Carey performance from the recent "live action" remake of the film! Thats also why it is missing the last two verses - Jim Careys version didnt feature them.
